I do get confused by Malawi cichlids sometimes: I am sure this is a young Nimbochromis specimen and I think it is the renowned N. livingstonii.
This is Kaligono or the sleeper - adults have been observed lying on their sides on a sandy bottom, the blotched black and white pattern resembles that of a dead fish, and so small cichlids approach to scavenge and the sleeper suddenly engulfs its victim.
