In 2005, the ZOO's nocturnal house, dating from 1969, was revamped. This is an enclosure with the lights on. It is home to Linnaeus's two-toed sloths, southern three-banded armadillos, Humboldt's night monkeys and Egyptian fruit bat. Former inhabitants include sugar glider and big hairy armadillo.
