Nice shot, but I see a couple of things of potential concern.
First -- I may be just an apprentice in the falconry world, but the jesses that bird's wearing look awfully skinny for an eagle. Definitely does not look like kangaroo leather (or, if it is, it looks like an inferior grade).
Second -- Is that a cataract I see in the eye facing the camera? Or an artifact of the photo itself?
I know nothing about this particular bird, but I have seen many photos which catch the moment when the nictitating membrane flashes across the eye, and that is probably what we are seeing here.
