What in the world is this? For all that money, couldn't they have at least tried to make it look like an indonesian rainforest??? (Overall, I like Busch Gardens a lot, I'm not anti-theme park, I love their gorilla/chimp exhibit, but this one I just don't get).

This shows maybe a third of the enclosure, and actually has much more climbing structures than seen in this photo. There are vines connecting pretty much anything above ground in the exhibit. The two bottom vines you see connect to a hammock below the Orangutan Outpost building. The tiger and Orang exhibits are both extremely unnatural but they have other amenities that make them work great for both species.

My favorite feature of this amazingly natural exhibit is the buttress roots that have a giant metal mushroom growing out the top. It's so beautiful to look at.

This shows most of the enclosure (probably 3/4 to 2/3). There are two seperate habitats for their orangutans.

No, there are two other towers, and a part under the building. Probably a little more than a half. I was wrong earlier.

The part under the building is water....i really havent seen any orangs spending time in water before. And of the two other towers, the fartherest one is located in the second (South) enclosure, but only accessed from the North yard.

An underwater hammock? That's kinda silly for an orangutan is it not? ;)

Its not underwater. That would be kind of dumb, wouldn't it ;). They have a log and some ropes that connect to the hammock underneath the building. The hammock itself is above the water, and there is a glass floor in the Orangutan Outpost building so visitors can look beneath them and see red apes snoozing in a hammock.
