Northern White Rhino- 2015

This is Nola, at the time the 5th remaining of her species, months before she died.
I'll always be grateful that I got to visit this facility (and currently my #1 favorite zoo), and see the two remaining Northern white rhinos. They were without a doubt the park's sacred gems. Very good photo of Nola and, who I'm assuming is, Chuck - her late longtime companion.

Unfortunately for me I never got to see these wonderful creatures:(. I visited the Safari Park around 3 months ago thinking that the zoo still had some of the Northern Whites. You can imagine my disappointment when I found out that these individuals had died (only after I visited).
