N N Nick@Amsterdam 25 Jan 2013 Are there any other zoos in the world that keep the northern subspecies?
Maguari 25 Jan 2013 Currently: 0.1 at Dvur Kralove 1.1 at San Diego Safari Park (/Wild Animal Park) 2.2 at Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Kenya (all ex-Dvur) That's the lot - and it could be all the cottoni left. The Dvur and San Diego animals are past breeding age.

vogelcommando 25 Jan 2013 I've seen this (sub) species only at Antwerp Zoo during the 1980-ties. At this time they kept a single female called 'Chloe'. She passed away 1985.
