Nubian ibex (Capra nubiana)

The single male moved a lot until he sheltered in around the back of the exhibit.

I'm aware that the current two male ibex there are born here, but do anyone know where the first ibex group in Singapore came from?

It's down a single one now? Guess maybe that's why it's been a bit harder for me to spot them

@LeMandaiEnthusiast‧ yes just one left. The other passed on recently. Seems like a species that will be phased out.

Would be a real shame to see then get phased out after this last one passes, I really like the mix baboon and ibex mix

@NATY indeed. I was searching for the ibex here (After unsuccesfuly searching for the cusimane in a nearby exhibit), but seeing dozens of baboons in a very well-designed desert mountain-themed exhibis is one hell of an experience.

Seeing the ibex walking among the baboon crown is the cherry on top.

I was meant to say crowd, not crown.
