The nursery tanks (from left to right) hold: Common prawn (Palaemon serratus) and Beadlet anemone (Actinia equina). Beadlet anemone (Actinia equina) and Netted dogwhelk (Tritia reticulata). Short-snouted seahorse (Hippocampus hippocampus) and Common prawn (Palaemon serratus). And finally Common prawn (Palaemon serratus) and Snakelocks anemone (Anemonia viridis).
The Short-snouted seahorses are rescues, all washed up on shore in the Netherlands. Ecomare and Rotterdam zoo are the only institutions allowed to handle them
