This fairly new exhibit (2008) is densely planted, but how would you rate it? Is there sufficient space for the cat(s), and how large is the enclosure in comparison to other small cat exhibits?
It is fairly big.
There are plenty of hiding spots.
I think it's bigger than most small cat exhibits like in cat houses, but still just an average size.
Yes there is a lot of vertical space.
When I spent a day at the zoo I checked the ocelot exhibit several times and they were always in the top half of their exhibit. But it makes sense since they are arboreal.
