Now there is only 1 ocelot left, I actually worked with that ocelot, ocelots can be kinda grumpy and they smell bad but still they are wonderful cats !!!
It's also a shame that they don't seem to take much pride or interest in cleaning the glassy viewing areas of this, and several other exhibits. The viewing and photo quality is terrible. One of my pet peeves with this zoo. I missed some great shots just yesterday as the result of the inability to focus properly through extremely neglected filthy windows. This should be a regular assignment for keepers and volunteers. The investment and use of Windex throughout the zoo would make a world of difference. Even the more recent multi-million dollar habitats are largely neglected. If our beloved zoo is that strapped for cash, maybe those of us that love this facility could send donations of glass cleanser their way. It truly is becoming an eyesore and greatly takes away from one's zoo going experience. And I won't even mention the scratched glass graffiti epidemic.
