There were no other tanks for any shark species. I just exited the building and the only exhibits that are being renovated are this and the three outdoor cages
That is great news as there is potential in the old building. One major problem is that accessing the PCA via the long, winding boardwalk is an arduous task for some people and seems far out of the way in comparison to the rest of the zoo. Rather than having a hodgepodge of animals in outdated exhibits I'd love to see a state-of-the-art Reptile House created. Utah's Hogle Zoo has the same problem with its Small Animal House, which is also a total mish-mash of animals in a wide variety of exhibits. There is an urgent desire to renovate that building into something modern and sleek but plans have not yet been forthcoming.
