The Cleveland Zoos Rain Forest opened in 1992 and in our opinion is still the zoos best exhibit.However the list of animals has remained basically unchanged over the 22 years that its been open.Bairds Tapir and a Tarsier being the only real notable execptions.A revamp of species would certainly be a breath of fresh air.What are some of your ideas for new species ?
My idea would be to bring tarsiers back and put them where the Prevost's squirrels are now (in the upper level). I would also close off the upper level Francois langurs and put a Baird's tapir there. I would also halve the size of the agouti/sloth/porcupine (former anteater) enclosure and put a Komodo dragon there.
