This looks like a nice habitat, we’re you able to see the crab? I’m not sure if I have spotted it or not in this photo. I have seen two habitats for the species in all my zoo-going and both times I never spotted it.
Yep! It was hiding where the long log on the right leans on the other pieces of wood. Around my sixth time through it finally came out in the open and stayed there for the rest of the day. I was hoping to present my first Coconut Crab in San Diego, but I couldn't pass up on this opportunity..
