Oct. 2021 - Museum of Science - Rivers & Streams - Hellbender Exhibit

This... Might be the best salamander exhibit I've ever seen. It looks amazing!

Rather than displaying hellbenders in a typical terrarium, Toledo Zoo appears to have created an exhibit masterpiece.

This does not take away the quality of the overall display, but I should mention the Hellbender only has access to the left tank and the right contains what looks like minnows. Still, it fulfills its purpose, showing guests how streams work - plus, kids can crawl under both sides and look at the animals above them.

Excellent exhibit!

Simply a masterpiece of exhibit design.

If only they could renovate the aquarium building to this standard.
