A view inside the South America House in Odense Zoo, Denmark. These are the stalls for lowland tapirs. The tapirs actually have quite a bit of space as well as a pool inside this house.
The South America House was built a long time ago but has now been incorporated in the new Oceanium (2001), meaning that the tapirs and tamarins have their outdoor exhibits in the large walkthrough aviary.
