Had a look on iNaturalist, and it looks to be an oil beetle.

Meloe sp. ?

@Springbok Seems like that's it.

iNaturalist has been a huge help in IDing invertebrates for me (and occassionally reptiles and other animals as well). It's not always possible to ID to species or even to genus level, but I'll take what I can get.
