Okapi Exhibit #2 - minimal barrier

Surely some other hiden barrier? Like the ground drops away abit?

@taun There is a drop, but it is very slight and if an Okapi came up to the fence then it would be easy to pet it on the head! I think that the zoo is recognizing the fact that Okapi are skittish creatures and probably don't venture near visitors.

@snowleopard there is always an exception to the rule!

@taun Certainly, for example the female in Dvur Kralove is almost un-okapi-like in this aspect
