We have that information but have not had any information on how he is doing, as her last calf did not survive.

im sure you know by now, but the calf is doing just fine and nearly already as big as mum.

why no photos on here of mother & calf?

good question! im going next week so i will get some.
if you want to see mother and calf, they are let out in the afternoon and remain in the indoor enclosure during the morning

I visited Regent’s Park a number of times shortly after the okapi birth, specifically to take photos of the mother and calf while the youngster was still small.

Unfortunately, however, on all of my visits the youngster was not allowed access to the outdoor enclosure and the interior of the house was closed to visitors.
