The largest of the three okapi paddocks and in my opinion the best as well as my favourite. This paddock is situated in between the Moorish Temple and the okapi greenhouse in the annex to the Ape House.
I saw an identical okapi+red duiker paddock at Köln zoo last summer. Passed lot of times over the place and have not seen the least sign of duiker.. Wish me better luck in Antwerp this september!
@Kakapo Well, if my two most recent visits in July and August are anything to go by you, you might be in luck, as I saw the duiker both times. That said, both visits took place on fairly warm and dry days as well as before it got really busy in the zoo, so that might be part of the reason. Also, the duiker always remained fairly far in the back of the enclosure. I hope you get to see it
