I don't know big the tank is, but my guess would be around 10,000 liters. It houses various fish and invertebrates that live in Vejle Fjord, and during my visit the following species were on display:
- Common starfish
- Shore crab
- Common whelk
- Painted goby
- Common sole
- Plaice
- Corkwing wrasse
- Three-spined stickleback
- Eelpout
- Sculpin
- European eel
- Goldsinny wrasse
Økolariet is a combined museum and science center with free entry right in the middle of the Danish town Vejle. It has various permanent exhibitions on ecology and nature, with changing exhibitions on how the Vejle area can help make the planet greener. It's not really a zoological institution, but as typical of such museums, it exhibits a few live animals (fish, insects etc.) where appropriate.
