Old abbey wall used as back wall of the Mackenzie Valley wolf exhibit, 2020-09-02

The majority of Pairi Daiza is located on the grounds of an old abbey that was dissolved and partially destroyed during the French Revolution. The majority of the old abbey wall is still present. Originally it marked the outer limits of the park, but Pairi Daiza has since expended beyond it.
