A pair of cats, initially thought by me to be bobcats or one of the other lynx species. These were kept in the old small cat house, this particular pair were there around 1990.

That's correct. A long thin house with outdoor viewing through glass along either side. It was at right angles to the two main pathways in the area of the miniature monkeys and the crazy golf. The large collection of cats were really successful there by all accounts, but the accommodation style wasn't considered in-keeping with a modern zoo.
It had a great collection and the cats did do very well, by and large, but the exhibits were not exactly pretty and not very large. I still miss the Persian Leopards, though. I wish I'd taken more photos of the house - this is quite nostalgic!
@ Zambar: Odin certainly was kept in this house, but I'm not sure whether this would be him.
