Old Children’s Zoo and Aviaries

I took this photo through the fence at the edge of the free part of the zoo. It is of the area that was the Children’s Zoo, and has no visitor access now. On the left is the old Malleefowl aviary. The treated pine exhibit in the centre was for Short-beaked Echidna. I believe the structure on the right are the new aviaries for Regent Honeyeater, which are not accessible to visitors.
