Old Verona Zoo - March 2013

Have they built a new zoo? Do you know when they closed this one?

this was for seals I am guessing?

The zoo apparantley closed around 20 years ago - but I am still trying to get firm dates.

The Parco Natura Viva near Verona probably took most of the stock when it shut......if indeed any was left. PNV now represents the 'Verona Zoo' but there is no longer a zoo in the city (in similar to most Italian cities - only Rome and Napoli city zoos remain).

I also thought seals or sealions when I saw this, but it is possible it has been flooded and didnt aoriginally contain water...

I think Zootierliste said it closed in 1998 but I am not sure how accurate this is...
