This thanks to an introduction of kulan genes after the first onager were imported from Tilburg Zoo.
Im fascinated by israels attempts to replicate and reintroduce its historic wildlife. I am troubled and puzzled as to why they would choose to pollute the blood of the Persian Onager with Kiang bloodlines. Any background as to why they chose to do this?
