I love the use of nets and ropes and just everything else that makes the day more enjoyable for the great apes in captivity. That is important than a naturalistic exhibit in my view. I know that 'not naturalistic enough' is a common complain on this forum but let us never forget that it is the apes that have to live in the exhibits, not us, and in most cases they have never seen Africa or Indonesia. So recreational opportunities and enrichment is the top priority if you ask me.
