@Zoofan15 Yes, I'm hoping they'll take to it just as well. It would be lovely to see Kluet using the enclosure more often; I can go years without catching more of a brief glimpse of him. I'll be sure to take some pictures when it's complete.
@marmolady Auckland’s orangutans were the same. They’d often be perched up on the climbing frames, with a sack pulled over their heads so you couldn’t see them. As a large male, Charlie was more conspicuous, but usually sedentary. Compare that to him now, brachiating across a lake!
@Abbey I don’t believe so as nothing has been announced by the zoo (I just had a look back on their news articles). Even the article from World Orangutan Day (August) mentioned nothing about the upcoming development.
