"Out of Africa" - Auchenoglanis occidentalis / Giraffe catfish

Title due to this catfish being placed in the Mississppi's tarpon exhibit
Very handsome specimen tho...

Called "Bubu" in an African language, not sure which.

It along with 2 Nile Perch were moved to the tarpon tank recently. They seemed to be suffering from fungal/bacterial infection, and looked quite bad a couple of weeks ago. Purely speculative, I guess they were moved to the tarpon tank for saline treatment (since tarpons can tolerate saline environment) and they look much better now.
