Are all of San Diego's koalas on display at the same time? Also, are the koalas on display also used for breeding, or are there breeding animals off-exhibit?
I believe I heard that all the koalas are usually on exhibit, so the breeders are on exhibit too. The koalas are outside all the time generally in the new exhibits.

It is funny because I don't remember seeing a sign identifying them as Queensland koalas, I assumed so. Perhaps the zoo is on the side of those that dispute whether there are subspecies or not.
