Is there any other zoos with outdoor exhibits for west african dwarf crocodiles? This exhibit was never intended to exhibit a animal just a moat to block the rhinos from coming down towards the guest said a trainer at the zoo. he said they decided to turn it into a crocodile exhibit to cut down cost of a all indoor exhibit with special heating and lighting. the only other zoo ive seen this species at was the Philadelphia zoo. they have a all indoor exhibit for the species in it's reptile house. the trainer also said this exhibit once had 8 juvenile west african dwarf crocodiles in there. very interesting. But apparently once the crocodiles grew older they didn't get along with one another and now they rotate each crocodile. the zoo apparently has 5 western african dwarf crocodiles.
