May 2009-China viewing area. There are two small exhibits infront of the elephant exhibit. I've heard that Reeve's Muntjacs and Sarus Cranes will be exhibited here, but I've also heard of Chinese Water deers instead of muntjacs.
My new issue of Zoo View just arrived yesterday along with my new Zooscape. According to the caption of a photograph of Billy, "Asian elephant Billy watches construction of Pachyderm Forest. He'll soon have new neighbors: Work on the mixed species exhibit featuring saurus crane and Chinese water deer is nearly complete." So I guess they're going with displaying Water Deer once more, a species I always found fascinating to watch. They'll probably bring in muntjacs again sometime in the near future.
Maybe this new mixed exhibit will open soon, as well as being able to view Billy again before the rest of Pachyderm Forest is complete.

The original plan was to have Muntjacs with the Sarus Cranes, but I guess they have decided to have Chinese water deer instead. Hopefully this section does open soon.
Wildlife World Zoo, Chahinkapa Zoo, San Diego Zoo, and San Diego Wild Animal Park. But I think that the SD Zoo one is a glitch, and I'm not sure about the ones in SDWAP.
