An odd paddock alongside the nature reserve - I wondered if it might be for grazing stock for the reserve but there's no indication if that's the case. Anyone know?

I think the Sitatunga where going to be moved near to the wetlands nature reserve.

Might have something to do with them been a marsh species in the wild and not a species of the Plains!

Yes but you don't find many emu on the african plains either...

They weren't being let out much on the plains-maybe they were like the addax and had problems with the other animal?

I've noticed this as well - they were shut away on Monday in the shed opposite the Addax, just barely visible through the gap at the side of the gate. Unless their move was really imminent it would seem odd for them to be shut away unless there had been problems (or potential problems). But there could easily be circumstances we're not aware of.
