Brilliant photo! How many Pallas cat photos have you even shot? With a limited number of zoos having them and their elusive nature, it must be difficult to get any.

If it is a cat, I will get the shot! :D I have actually seen and photographed several pallas cats. Let me see if I can think of them all.

(Asterisk means seen but not photographed)

Cincinnati Zoo (USA)
maybe Columbus Zoo* (USA)
Woodland Park Zoo* (USA)
San Diego Zoo (USA)
EFBC Feline Conservation Center* (USA)
Big Cat Rescue* (USA)
Port Lympne Wild Animal Park (ENGLAND)
Le Parc Des Felins (FRANCE)
Highland Wildlife Park (SCOTLAND)

San Diego Zoo and Woodland Park Zoo don't have them on display anymore unfortunately. I remember never seeing the Pallas cats when they were in Polar Bear Plunge.

Hopefully we will get to see Pallas cats in Minnesota Zoo come to a reality. It seems they are going for Africa first with their Master Plan. But if it does happen, it will definitely be an exhibit that is photograph worthy.

I forgot, I also saw (but did not photograph them) at Denver Zoo and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

When they were at San Diego, I saw adults in Polar Bear Plunge a couple times and once I saw five kittens in the childrens zoo nursery.

Thanks. A lot of my best cat shots are from this place, which of course I think is the best zoo on the planet.
