Palm Cockatoo (Probosciger aterrimus)

KL Bird-Park has at least 6 birds of this rare and handsome species. Some of the birds were put on display, while others were being used to entertain the public (as in this picture, taken at the 'photo booth'). I hope they do try to breed this species, as you don't see them very often in zoo's and they're known to be difficult breeders. It would be a shame to see them disappear from zoos entirely.
