Yes, some zoos in Uruguay, Argentina and... I think in Chile too, have pampas deer. Here there are some small zoos around the country that hold and reproduce this specie, unfortunatelly the biggest zoos have no interest in keeping this wonderful specie.
Well it turns out that besides San Diego Zoo and San Antonio Zoo, Bronx Zoo and San Diego Wild Animal Park also had Pampas deer. The Pampas deer that lived at San Diego Zoo and San Diego Wild Animal Park were Chacoan pampas deer (Ozotoceros bezoarticus leucogaster), the Pampas deer at the ZSSD parks came from Berlin Zoo, San Diego Zoo during that time also got Marsh deer from Berlin Zoo, the last time San Dirgo Zoo had Pampas deer was 1993 or 1994, the Pampas deer lived in what is now the Lowland anoa exhibit right across from Ituri Forest, Marsh deer also lived in that area.
