A giant panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca) is chowing down on some bamboo here in the first indoor exhibit at Panda Passage. Viewing in this exhibit is from across a dry moat with a retaining wall of natural stones. New skylights help make this a bright indoor exhibit that can support living plants.
