Panda Passage Giant Panda Outdoor Exhibit

This exhibit has been extensively remodeled from a pachyderm habitat (Asian elephants and later Indian rhinoceros). This view is from across a dry moat with a retaining wall made of natural stone from the nearby Rocky Mountains. There's a stream, plants, heated rocks, and a mulch substrate.
There is also a second outdoor habitat for the giant pandas, but it is not visible to the public.

It will be interesting to see how they convert this space for orangutans (one move they made which doesn't reflect the natural habitat of orangs would be the transplanted birches and pines)
