The variety of the terrain in the two gorilla enclosures at DAK is staggering, and in my mind only "Congo Gorilla Forest" at the Bronx Zoo is a better example of a natural environment for gorillas in all of North America. There is the constant sunshine, dense undergrowth, thick bushes, waterfalls, trickling creeks, full-grown trees, small valleys and hilltops, and a large amount of space for the troops.
