The park's monorail system (named Panorail). This was probably my last time riding the Panorail as its slated to be decommissioned by the end of the year. it will be replaced by a ground tram system.

The problem with monorails is that they cost too darn much to upgrade and overhaul. So its much cheaper to replace them altogether with road-based trams when they start giving maintenance problems.
I agree though that its a pity that monorails are becoming endangered these days.
The Panorail looks set to receive a new lease of life in Malaysia! The Malaysian State of Malacca (also spelled Melaka) intends to buy over the monorail system for use in a botanical garden. The two sides are now trying to negotiate a price with a pair of Malayan Tigers, on long-term loan from the Malaysian Department of Wildlife and National Parks to the Singapore Night Safari, as bargaining chips.
