Papuan hornbill

Rhyticeros plicatus
did Linton Zoo's logo used to be a Papuan hornbill? For some reason I associate the two with each other.

I did some searching for Linton's previous logos, and could not see one that had a Papuan hornbill- maybe a more regular visitor would be able to give some insight?

I think what it was was that in an old yearly round-up of the UK zoo-world that I have (a separate booklet out of one of the bird magazines) there was a photo of a Papuan hornbill on the same page as Linton, so the two have become firmly connected in my mind.

Linton Zoo has kept these Papuan hornbills for an incredibly long time, so it would not surprise me if they were used as a logo at one point. However if you remember anything from the early days there is probably a big connection there too.
