Parrot species mural and parrot feed dispenser

Certainly a different way of informing visitors on which species are kept. But certainly one has to say this is a rather very minimalistic form of signage, right? At least there are some educational murals in the entrance and exit areas of the aviary.

Reactions: German Zoo World
According to these paintings, completed by some searching on Zootierliste, the following species are kept in this aviary:
- Monk parakeet or quaker parrot (Myiopsitta monachus)
- Eastern rosella (listed on Zootierliste as Platycercus eximius non-subspecies specific,
as subspecies Platycercus eximius elecica and also as breeding form). I did not see any of these during my visit.
- Senegal parrot (Poicephalus senegalus). I did not see this species during my visit.
- Rose-ringed or ring-necked parakeet (Psittacula krameri), wild color form and yellow domestic form. Listed on Zootierliste as no-subspecific status and domestic forms. I only saw green ones during my visit.
- Cockatiel (Nymphicus hollandicus), wild color form and white domestic form. Listed on Zootierliste as general species and domestic forms. From what I remember there were indeed domestic form cockatiels in the aviary but not just white ones.
- Burrowing parrot or Patagonian conure (Cyanoliseus patagonus). Zootierliste lists these under former holdings for Amersfoort and I did not see any during my visit.
