1 of the 2 bassins for Patagonian sea lions. This is the former pelican and cormorant pond. Unfortunately these 2 species leaved the collection, but this is the only sea lion pool that is large enough to keep them permanently. On my visit, the basin held the largest sea lion i ever seen.
