Nice to know that there are now three mounts in circulation around museums, with Te Papa, Barcelona and London (the latter has now left, but did have a period of overlap with the Te Papa one) all having temporary ones, as well as the permanent ones at Chicago and AMNH. I suspect one of these will return to Argentina when the renovations at MEF are complete, but that still leaves two mounts in circulation which will hopefully allow for more museums to display this incredible dinosaur - if they have the space!
As a side note, are you able to touch the mount? Shockingly, that is possible with the one at London, which has no sort of protective podium at all, but while this one is one a slightly raised platform that I presume cannot be walked upon, there doesn't seem to be any barrier preventing you from touching it.
There was no barrier really so you were able to touch to, though its common courtesy not to so I didn't much
I loved this mount, it was cool to finally truly see the the size of giants 50-80,. 30m+ sauropods instead of just figures and diagrams, as they never really give you the true size. my only complaint is its very much crouched in there, i would love to see a mouth hold its head up high in a more neutral pose, but thats very minor.
