Patas Monkey Exhibit

Aug. 3rd, 2011.
Looks like they're going to replace old primate exhibits, big cat exhibits, and bird exhibits with bigger and even better enclosures, including islands for primates to enjoy and huge aviaries with netting and stuff for free-flying birds. Don't you think?

The zoo has had the same metal cages for many years, even with the 4 new aquarium buildings and the proposed 55-acre African Safari expansion. I have no idea if there are future plans to demolish the rows of cages that fill the grounds, but that is par for the course when it comes to non-accredited facilities in the United States. Some establishments are definitely worth visiting, but probably 99% of them are substandard.

Well, maybe you're right.
