A very difficult group as the species are very similar and they change colour patterns as they grow and probably seasonally too. I suggest Cichla orinocensis, but ZTL says that C. ocellaris are kept at Berlin too and that could be correct.
Edit: I wrote this post before seeing @ralph's reply above, which could also be correct, although I wonder if it has sufficient spots.
I think I may email the aquarium about the species and leave it as Cichla sp. in my notes until I get a definitive answer. Thanks for your help @ralph & @gentle lemur
