Peruvia was a new area in the zoo for 2011. This complex includes giant anteaters, south american tapirs, southern tamanduas, some tamarins and marmosets species, southern screamers, grey-winged trumpeter and green iguanas.
The enclosure on the picture is used to isolate the giant anteaters from the south american tapirs.
