Philippine mouse-deer ([i]Tragulus nigricans[/i]) in Islands in Danger.

Lousy-quality photo, it's like the Black Hole of Calcutta in there, and of course this is also through two layers of fine mesh as the animal is still in the rear-most enclosure.

He wasn't in the rearmost enclosure a couple of months ago, I wonder why they moved him back.

He was in the rear enclosure back in July, so do you remember when you saw him in one of the front ones? Might just be a case of settling in for a while longer.

He was given access to the main aviary in August. I saw him there on the 31st


It is a nice picture under the circumstances. I think you are being too harsh on yourself.
