This remains a rather uninspiring gorilla exhibit, which opened in 1999 but appears much older in my opinion. It's amazing that Disney's Animal Kingdom built their far superior gorilla complex at around the same time! Also, Congo Gorilla Forest opened at the Bronx Zoo in 1999 as well.
