I heard that the zoo just put fences around the rock formations and put big horn sheep and it was done. I don't know if it's true, we'll have to ask Ituri about the exhibits.
You're probably right. I at first thought that it was one massive enclosure, but then noticed a separate small herd of sheep in another exhibit that is right next to the one in the photo. I think that there are basically 2 enormous exhibits for these mammals.
Yeah, they just fenced in a couple of buttes off on the back side of their grounds. The second enclosure used to hold Nubian ibex, but it now has a bachelor herd of desert bighorn.
