What are your thoughts of the night safari @snowleopard? I certainly loved it! Some animals were a little out of place (primates) given that it is meant to be a night safari and therefore, exclusively for nocturnal animals. They could actually help their collection by adding a few more nocturnal animals although I really appreciate their feline collection.
@Chapman'szebra I enjoyed it and my only major complaint is that @twilighter and I were done in 2.5 hours. We immediately were ushered into the Savanna Safari and that was maybe 25 minutes long. Then it was the Predator Prowl Safari and that was a similar time frame, although perhaps a bit longer. We walked the Jaguar Trail loop, took loads of photos and still finished the entire zoo in 2.5 hours including the two tram tours.
Beginning in January, I will be posting comprehensive reviews of all the 59 Asian zoos I visited on this trip and I'm curious to see just how many mammal species Chiang Mai Night Safari had. There's a lot there!
@snowleopard well, that is true. We reached the night safari around 4 pm and left at 9 pm because we watched two of their shows and did Savannah Safari's Tram ride twice. The predator prowl zone was quite disappointing, their collection in that zone seems to have dwindled because I remember they had maned wolfs, timber wolves, cinereous vultures, and siamese and saltwater crocodiles. But none of them were there during my visit.
